The Art Institute Of Chicago
This project features a backlighting installation for the historic 48-panel Tiffany Studios Hartwell Memorial Window in the Henry Crown Gallery at The Art Institute of Chicago. Designed to illuminate the stained glass within a tight 12-inch cavity depth, the project utilizes the LumiGrid Astra Double-Sided system installed behind a glass diffuser. Delivering high luminosity exceeding 1,300 lumens per square foot, the lighting grid is mounted on a retractable rail system for easy slide-out maintenance without requiring a backing substrate.
